What is a literary coach?
Simply, someone who will help pull the words out of you. In more complex terms, a literary coach works with you one on one and will help you define what you are writing, help you focus your works intent, assist in developing the work including character descriptions/purposes, scene definitions, story transitions, dialogue, personality, ministry/therapy component, fact presentation and other areas dependent upon what you are writing. Sometimes a coach’s role may be to help an author take a poetry collection and weave it into a cohesive book; take teaching, preaching or workshop notes and mold them into a book, or take journal entries and help the writer weave them into a testimony or self-help journal.
Coaches can work with a writer from the idea stage up to publication, or may jump in mid-stream (at the writers block stage) and take you through completion.
Coaches may just help in the development of the outline and project summary or in critiquing/editing a completed project.
Coaches will analyze and assess your work from a literary instructive angle and from the angle of a reader.
My approach as a coach is to make the writing process click for you where you are, using what you enjoy. I've been known to build homework assignments around NBA games. Have authors role play with their characters; or even role play with me. We play the book club game so that you can evaluate your work's feasibility based on a reader's perspective. Plus there are those darn FLEX TIME WRITING ASSIGNMENTS that come out of nowhere. Come on - let me be your writing coach.

ULTIMATE WRITER
Ø Up to 6 one hour or 10 half hour one-on-one coaching per month, scheduled on a week to week basis according to your busy schedule and our availability; no need to set a definite time each week or month
Ø 1 five-minute Arise, Write, Release coach infusion per week
Ø Unlimited between-session email support.
Ø Access to pertinent tools and assessments as well as my network of contacts and resources.
Ø Initial 3-month commitment, then we'll work month-to-month for as long as you like.
MONTHLY INVESTMENT: $550 per month
All writers who purchase packages must:
1) Agree to automatic recurring billing
2) Understand that late payments will incur an additional $25 inconvenience fee that must be paid
3) Returned or unauthorized payments will incur an additional $35 inconvenience fee and future payments must be made in certified funds in advance
4) Sessions will be cancelled until late/returned or unauthorized payments are brought current
5) Billing is in advance, it is client’s responsibility to call, log in or attend the arranged meeting session, last minute cancellations will be accounted towards a paid session
